Multiple OS in VPS Hosting
In case you select one of our virtual private server packages, you will have three different Operating Systems to pick from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They are all Linux distributions and we offer them instead of offering just one OS, as the apps that you might choose to run on the server may have specific requirements regarding the software environment. Each of the three has certain pros regarding the available plans that you may afterwards install, but what's common between them is the fact that they're very stable and reliable and have vast communities that support them. The internet hosting Control Panel options for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, in order to give you more flexibility. When you order the virtual server with one OS and you need another one later, our technical support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in just a few minutes. We also offer the option to keep the Operating System on your server up-to-date on a weekly basis.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Web Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are completely free and they will not increase the cost of your new server, but also because they are outstandingly secure and stable. Each one of them is supported by a big community of developers, so you'll be able to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you can install on your server if the app that you intend to work with has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use as the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with particular OSs only and since we want to give you as much versatility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a certain OS, we can change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you will need alternative one. We will also keep the OS updated weekly as a part of the additional Managed Services upgrade.
