Dot NET Domain Name Registrations
When the Dot NET universal top-level domain name extension was first started in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the Internet, it was planned to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure entities. Since there were no particular prerequisites about the usage of the TLD, though, .NET domains were acquired and used for different purposes and by many people. This domain extension is an ideal substitute of dot COM, particularly if the necessary domain with the latter extension is not free for registration.
Acquiring a .NET domain with our firm is effortless and takes no more than a couple of minutes, considering that we work with an ICANN-accredited registrar firm. You can acquire such a domain for a time interval between one and ten years, or, if you already own a domain, you can transfer it to our firm and we will renew it once the transfer process is done. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least 60 days old, given that they are not locked and that you have received an EPP transfer authorization code – security measures set up by the Registry to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily change the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you don’t want this information to be accessible at all, you can purchase a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to view your real contact details.
The dot NET domain name extension supports internationalized names, so you can decide whether you want to focus on a particular country or area using a domain name in the local language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
